The word 'LAUDANT' is derived from the Latin word 'Laud' meaning to give praise to or glorify. We as The Laudant find great satisfaction in giving praise and glory to our Saviour through music.

 

The Laudant as a group started during the Lent season of 2005 when Roger, Rayner, Rufus and Jeffers joined together to raise their voices in harmony to our Lord for Easter 2005. The missing part was perfectly filled by Arul Mony who joined soon after. But occupational demands made Jeff opt out and the hunt for a replacement began. Christmas 2005 saw Sherwin enter with Heinzsten and has been irreplaceable since then. Since then the group has been growing from strength to strength.
